Matthew Silverstein decided not to contest against Dan Halloran

City Councilman Dan Halloran is now the sole Republican candidate for the upcoming election while his few Democratic candidates which include Flusing attorney Paul Vallone, brother of Councilman Peter Vallone Jr, former State Assemblyman John Duane, community activist Paul Graziano and Empire State public relations vice president Austin Shafran.
