Marriott suspect identified as Glen Oaks resident

Nassau County police reported the suspect who entered Long Island Marriott in Uniondale for attempted robbery has been identified as Sunil Joseph, 40 of Glen Oaks. Joseph was identified from the surveillance after his vehicle, a Honda Civic plates matched to his address on Little Neck Parkway. The incident happened on Wednesday and Joseph was arrested on Thursday night. Joseph was seen on the surveillance showing phone to the clerk that read, give me your money, I want your money. He faces robbery charge and arraigned on Friday morning in First District Court in Hempstead.
