Man stabbed In the back after trying to break up teen fight

A man was stabbed and left injured after he tried to break up a brawl between two teens near a middle school on Wednesday.

The incident happened at the Hollis Playground around 3:40 p.m, police said.

While trying to break up the fight, one teen tried to pull out a gun. As he tried to wrestle the gun away, the 37-year-old man was stabbed in the back.

When police arrived at the scene, they arrested one teen who was in possession of a gun. Charges against the teen are pending.
