Man shot dead in Queens Village

Police reported a man identified as Don Gonzalez was shot dead outside his home on Bardwell Avenue and 209th Place in Queens Village. It happened on Thursday, January 18 around 8am and police arrived to the scene afterward to confirm. Gonzalez, 65 was found laying unconscious on the sidewalk when calls were made to 911. So far no arrests and the investigation is ongoing. Gonzalez's address shows the Bronx and possibly squatting with others at the Queens Village home according to police.
