Man jumped over the counter and attacked a worker at Rite Aid in Glen Oaks

Police reported an EDP went inside RiteAid and attacked the cashier behind the counter of pharmacy. The worker was treated for minor injury. The EDP has been transported to local hospital. The perp, black, male, 5'5" wearing light green with beard is placed in cuffs and will be released to NYS Office of Mental Health after hospital observation. RiteAid is located inside Glen Oaks Shopping Center on 255th Street and Union Turnpike.
