Man found stabbed to death in Queens park cops

The Queens Police Department is looking into the early Wednesday morning stabbing death of a man discovered inside a public park.

According to authorities, police from the 103rd Precinct were called to Major Mark Park near Hillside Avenue and 175th Street in Jamaica Estates after an unidentified man was discovered unconscious and unresponsive around 4:47 a.m. on October 7.

Officers discovered the person had been stabbed in the chest after conducting an inquiry.

He was declared dead at the scene by EMS personnel. Although he hasn't been recognized, the police claim they think he was in his thirties. Authorities are also looking into if he was homeless.
