Man died after crossing Belt Parkway in Springfield Gardens

Sunday, December 3rd around 4am, police reported a 70 year old man struck by vehicle and died on Belt Parkway and 168th Street. Police did not disclose why the man was on the parkway. The driver remained on the scene and is cooperating with the police.
