Man dead after slashed with machete in East Elmhurst

Police were called to 92nd Street and 57th Avenue in East Elmhurst reporting assault with machete. It happened on February 28 around 8pm. A 22 year old victim identified as Hakeem Griffin was found slashed with machete when police heard noise of argument outside pizzeria. He died at Elmhurst Hospital. So far no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
