Man arrested for placing a tracking device on victims vehicle

On October 24, 2024, the Bureau of Criminal Investigation out of SP Jamestown arrested Robert Spoon, 46 of Westfield, NY for Stalking 4th degree.

On October 20, 2024, Troopers out of SP Jamestown responded to possible stalking incident in the town of Westfield, NY. Investigation determined that a 28-year-old victim located a possible tracking device on their vehicle. The device is a Tracki Model TRKM110-T located on the vehicle and taken into evidence. The Bureau of Criminal Investigation requested a subpoena for the device. The account details came back to Spoon. Spoon was arrested and processed at SP Jamestown. Spoon was transported to Cattaraugus County Jail for CAP arraignment. BCI refrain from Order of Protection was issued.
