Malone male arrested for menacing 3rd

On April 9, 2025, State Police arrested Chad E. Lavare, age 43, of Malone, NY, for multiple offenses, including criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree (due to a previous conviction), criminal mischief, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, and menacing in the third degree.

On April 9, 2025, at approximately 6:27 p.m., State Police responded to a report of menacing on State Route 30 in Malone. The investigation revealed that Lavare was wielding a baseball bat and threatening to use it harmfully against the victim. During the altercation, he also caused damage to property at the residence.
