Male struck by vehicle died on LIE

Police reports a male died after struck by vehicle on the Long Island Expressway in Oakland Gardens. It happened around 3am by Springfield Blvd. The victim, 47 year old male parked the vehicle on the shoulder and was hit when exited the vehicle. The victim died at the scene. Ongoing investigation.
