Male hit by train dead in NHP

Police reported a male hit by train died in New Hyde Park. This is by 4th Avenue. The incident was reported around 9:20am this morning.

ESU removed the body. The medical examiner transported the body pending autopsy.

Delays on both directions due to power shut off. A witness stated the male was on the tracks when the incident happened.

Ongoing investigation.
