Main Street closed near the hospital in Flushing

The NYPD is on Main Street reporting a pedestrian struck by a vehicle. This is near Booth Memorial Avenue in Flushing.

EMS transported the pedestrian to a local hospital in critical condition.

ESU is working on the scene.

The driver remains on the scene and is cooperating with the police.
