MTA opened the first customer service center

MTA opened its first customer service center at the local subway station, Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue in Brooklyn.

The customer service center will replace token booths with a new team of people who will wave and smile at all just like air hostesses except providing food.

Their role is to provide information from subways, LIRR trains, bus, car share, bike share and much more to the public seeking assistance. Also, help people with vending machines for fares and the app, OMNY.

So if you see them in the coming weeks, smile and wave.
