MTA heading to loss without congestion pricing

So $500 million plus $300 million is (GULPS!!!), $800 million for MTA loss.

$500 million loss by far evasion in the subways and $300 for public buses that sum up to $800 million give or take close to $1 billion dollars every year.

Yet the MTA wants congestion pricing to cover the loss which will come to a $400 million deficit by the year 2027. OK!

The MTA released a statement on Wednesday that half of the riders in public buses don't pay the fare.

Now the MTA is demanding fare enforcement agents along with the NYPD to crackdown on bus fare evaders.

MTA bus drivers are restricted from enforcement for their own safety after one of their own drivers was killed during a dispute when the suspect didn't want to pay. This was in 2008.

The NYPD has not responded to MTA's request since it's impossible to add police presence in all buses.

Now it's on brainstorming, the simple word or the big word, due diligence.

The Mayor’s Office did not respond to why not arrest evaders which is mean as people must be treated with compassion, respect and love.
