Lowsuit against cabs dismissed by federal judge

A federal judge dismissed a lawsuit against Newyork city and its Taxi and Limousine commission. The lawsuit submitted by taxi owners for their burdensome regulations. The owners failed to show they were denied equal protection or due process. Judge found that ride sharing services serve passengers, whether rides are hailed on the street or by smartphones. It is essentially the right to operate a yellow cab, which helps to fall fare by its half.
