Long time diner closed on Kissena Blvd

Pops Diner, a longtime fixture on Kissena Blvd and Colden Street in Flushing closed their doors for good.

According to neighboring businesses, the diner was cash only and police had to patrol the area from robberies.

A patron stated the owner decided not to renew the lease.

The diner has been operating over 40 years in the same spot.

It will be missed by locals.
