Long evening and night for Baldwin residents

The NCPD is heavy at a location in Baldwin reporting an armed EDP barricaded inside a home. The incident started this evening 5pm on Riverside Avenue near West End Avenue. As of 10pm, the law enforcement continue to work at the scene. The entire block with neighboring residents has been evacuated for safety. Also the block is closed. More Nassau County law enforcement are enroute.

EMS is working on the scene while the person is inside with people presume to have them as hostages.

The investigation continues.
