Long Island resident identified from the Queens recovery

The NYPD recovered a body of a male from the water in the vicinity of Howard Beach JFK Airport last week. The medical examiner after a lengthy investigation confirmed details.

The family has been notified who was missing since November 17, 2024 around 9:30am in Uniondale. Daniel Toluwanimi Adeyemi, 28 was last seen at that time leaving his home.

Detectives have worked on the case since then with leads from all sources.

Daniel was well liked by all his friends and families who never gave up the search all the time.

He will be missed.

Detectives are continuing with the investigation.
