Local events in the Long Island area for the weekend

On Friday, from 2pm to 4pm at the Bellerose Library on Hillside Avenue and 250th Street there will be a back to school giveaway.

On September 8, 9 and 10 from 10am to 5pm, there will be a Long Island Fair in Old Bethpage at 1303 Round Swamp Rd.

On September 9, Westbury Street Fair from 10am to 5pm at 200 Post Avenue.

September 7 to 10 at Port Washington, there will be Italian Festival at North Hempstead Beach Park, 175 West Shore Road.

September 10 in Babylon at Argyle Lake Park, 250 West Main Street will have county fair.

All events are open to the public.
