Liverpool man arrested on multiple sex offense charges

On December 18, 2024, the Troop D Computer Crimes Unit in collaboration with SP North Syracuse BCI, executed a search warrant at an apartment on Plantation Blvd in the town of Clay.

Subsequent to an extensive Internet Crimes Against Children investigation, Timothy J. Fairchild, age 25, from Liverpool, NY, was arrested and charged with the following:

   (3) counts of Promoting a Sexual Performance by a Child (class “D” felony)

   (2) counts of Possession of Sexual Performance by a Child (class “E” felony)

The arrest is the result of the defendant utilizing various social media platforms to distribute child sexual exploitation material.

Fairchild was transported to the Onondaga County Justice Center to await centralized arraignment.
