Lime is coming to Queens

Not the fruit but electric moped. The company, Lime that makes bright green electric mopeds will initially roll out 100 mopeds in lower Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens. After the success of launching in the nation's capital, Washington DC and in Paris, France, the company is gearing to set up a hub in the Bronx with 1,000 mopeds. Manufactured in China where Revel moped is also made, each charged battery can go up to 100 miles with speed limit restricted at 28. In order to ride one, an individual must have a valid driver license and a selfie with the provided helmet when registering for an account via mobile app. Also must take the course provided in the app to start riding. The company will announce the locations in Queens and most likely it will start in LIC.
