Liberty Avenue closed in South Richmond Hill

The FDNY reports heavy fire at a local Ebike store on Liberty Avenue. This is by 120th Street in South Richmond Hill. All are evacuated from the location including the residential units above the commercial store.

EMS reported two people with serious injuries and transported to a local hospital.

Liberty Avenue is closed in both directions.

Locals say this is the second time the fire occurred after last year which was closed, remodeled and then opened again for business.

Firefighters are working on the scene.
