Liberty Avenue closed in Jamaica due to fire

FDNY reported heavy fire at a location on Liberty Avenue in Jamaica. This is at the unit, 150-05 reporting 4th alarm.

This is a local tire shop and all were evacuated.

EMS is checking for injuries.

Residents in the area are advised to close windows due to tire burning smell.

Liberty Avenue is closed for now.

Firefighters are working on the scene.

The cause of fire is under investigation.
