Let s try violence interrupters program in NYC

After a failed campaign of please put the guns down, please sacrifice your life for others and the first lady's 5 D methods of distract, delegate, document, delay and direct, the NYC mayor's office announced violence interrupters program. No need to call 911 or NYPD as part of the defund program again. It will start in Queens at the Astoria and Woodside public housings where bullets fly all the time. The budget has not been announced but it's in the range of $50 million and it will help the community with meditation, diffuse potential gun violence by using local residents as well as jobs, education, counseling and more services. The local politicians believe this will reduce gun violence instead of NYPD.
