Lefferts to Liberty one stretch reported fatalities

The NYPD reported a pedestrian struck by vehicle died on Lefferts Blvd this morning around 9:30am. The pedestrian died at the local hospital later today. From a witness this was a NYC Dept of Transportation truck by 84th Avenue in Richmond Hill.

Last night around 9:45pm, the NYPD closed off Liberty Avenue reporting a fatality involving a male on e-bike scooter. Police say this was a single accident after the victim was involved in an accident with pothole and ejected. EMS declared the victim on the scene from head injuries. Also police say the victim was not wearing a helmet when the incident occurred.

Both incidents remains under investigation.
