Carrying bikes is extra $1. The next launch of ferry route is on June 1st in South Brooklyn and Astoria in August with date not announced yet. Budget - it costs NYC taxpayers $30 million dollars to operate that covers the boat, staff, maintenance and etc. Mayor di Blasio stated more than 5 million people are expected of using the ferry in the first year.
