Large power outage in one part of northeast Queens

ConEd is reporting over 10,000 residents are without power in one part of northeast Queens.

Glen Oaks, Bellerose, New Hyde Park, Floral Park and Queens Village are heavily affected.

According to a ConEd worker, the substation is where the crew are working to restore the power. The utility company has been working as of last night when residents called of partial power out in the area.

Drink plenty of water and look outside for the view of the sky for now while staying indoors. Those having electric vehicles will have to use public transportation or ride share apps to go somewhere. The estimated restoration time has not been announced.

Still utility bills must be paid on time.
