Large fight turned brutal in Bellerose

A fight turned brutal on Hillside Avenue involving bats. The incident was reported on Hillside Avenue by 251st Street in Bellerose last night around 3am.

EMS transported the injured to local hospitals.

Police reported a vehicle took off later toward the Cross Island Parkway from witnesses living in the area woke to the loud noise.

ESU is working to collect evidence in the area.

So far no arrests.

Additional details were not released by the police due to ongoing investigation.
