Larceny in Bellerose

The Third Squad reports the details of a Larceny that occurred on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at 1:35 a.m. in Bellerose. According to detectives, a male victim was inside of his home located on Jericho Turnpike when he heard a noise coming from outside. An unknown subject was seen removing rims and tires valued at $700.00 USD from his 2023 Toyota Highlander that was parked on the street and placing them inside the backseat of a grey four-door sedan. The subject got into the passenger-side of the grey four-door sedan and the vehicle fled northbound on Pennsylvania Avenue. The victim heard two rounds of what sounded like an airsoft gun. Upon further investigation, one pellet was found on the side street on Pennsylvania Avenue and one pellet was found to have hit the taillight of a 2022 Honda HRV that was parked nearby. There is no further description of the subjects at this time. No injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing.
