LIRR closed at the Bellerose station

Trains are bypassing the Bellerose station after police closed off around 9:30am or earlier. According to law enforcement on the scene, the area is covered off after a reported dead body. This was on the underpass spot to the train. Police are not allowing the media or public to the scene. From several witnesses at the scene, the male was in the area with ankle bracelet breaking into vehicles. A witness alerted police and another witness was assaulted. Three more female victims were assaulted. Then few more civilians approached to stop the male by the underpass to the ground. The male was not responding. Then collapsed to the ground unresponsive. EMS reported of possible ODed cause but not confirmed. More details are pending due to ongoing investigation. Update - Multiple doses of Narcan were administered and the male was transported to an area hospital for treatment and evaluation. The victims refused medical treatments.
