LA Fitness spa and pool closed at Garden City located at 2350 Jericho Turnpike after two positive samples of Legionnaires disease ordered by Nassau County Health Dept today

The gym posted outside window, ?We are asking any members who utilized the pool area in November or December 2016 and who are experiencing signs of illness to contact their healthcare provider and inform them of their potential exposure.? The spa and pool wont be open until health dept confirms. Two people were confirmed with the bacteria. The gym management is advising all who used the spa and pool to come forward for testing.
