Jamaican style patties expanding to JFK

Golden Krust, the well known eatery famous for Jamaican style patties in NYC is opening a new location inside the JFK. The grand opening is on Friday, October 24 from 11am to 3pm at the Terminal 8, Baggage Claim 7 with the ribbon cutting at 1pm.

This franchise at JFK is owned by Conroy and Samantha Champagne.

The Hawthorne family started the first eatery in the Bronx in 1989 expanding to 17 locations in the first four years. Now there are over 120 locations in nine states nationwide as franchises.

It's the patty they are famous for New Yorkers. Add coca bread and the flavor is hard to miss especially in Queens and the Bronx.

The event is open to the public.
