The LaGuardia Air Train which is still in the developmental stage which will connect from the airport to 7 train and LIRR is going as planned except certain community resistance. The new paths are being worked out without conflicts by working with communities, residents and elected officials. The original plan was on Grand Central Parkway and residents opposed due to congestion. The project is to cost an estimated $1 billion dollars. Already $55 million dollars were allotted for the plan of design and other research. Currently MTA buses, taxis and yellow cabs are the only transportation modes.
