After the $212 billion budget passed, over 200 non-profit organizations rejoiced with joy and thunder. Their mission is to provide relief to hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers statewide. Not to mention, administrative costs from food to perks, higher salaries and promotions to invite people to participate. All using taxpayers funds to promote particular politicians who arranged the funds. One organization which received $10 million for standby training will receive another $30 million to hire people to train self defense courses. They reported 31 hate crimes on Asian Americans from January 1 to March 31 of which NYPD never tallied race before. This explains why there were no hate crimes on a specific race until politicians demanded NYPD to release such data. While the celebrations were going on, no budget met for mental health initiatives, NYPD and hospitals for inpatients under psychiatry. As of last Friday, NYC reported over 50 people shot, 6 killed, 6 drive by shootings, 8 stabbed with 2 deaths. NYPD reported the emergency crisis but fell on deaf ears. Hey today alone 5 people were shot including 1 murder. As for RONA, the NYC mayor's office reported the restrictions will continue in the summer unless the governor changed his tune.
