It s Nassau County for the record for stolen autos

Nassau County police reported as of New Year to January 9, 23 vehicles were stolen. The latest incident was reported in Lake Success on January 7 around 10:30am when a resident called 911 of the vehicle stolen from the garage. The vehicle, a 2021 Land Rover, was tracked to the Verrazano Bridge. Police reported three suspects were taken into custody.

968 vehicles were stolen last year. 561 vehicles were stolen in 2021.
