Hunters Point South Park opens next week

Thursday, June 21 at 10am, The Hunter's Point South Park at Center Blvd, Long Island City will be open to the public with a ceremony. The three year project with water front view of the city cost tax payers $100 million for its 5.5 acres. The park is from 54th Avenue to Newton Creek. It will also have playground and other recreational areas. One side is still under construction with 5,000 residential units.
