House fire with one dead in Auburndale

The FDNY reported a house fire with one dead in Auburndale. This is on 194 Street at a location house 32 near 48th Avenue. Firefighters removed the body and the medical examiner transported to conduct an autopsy. The fire started in the second floor around 8:15pm tonight and was brought under control by 9pm. EMS is checking on the injured.

Firefighters are working on the scene.

The cause of fire is under investigation.
