Hostage situation in Richmond Hill

Police are reporting an EDP is threatening to blow up the building at 97-14 Lefferts Blvd in Richmond Hill after barricading himself inside. The sister called 911 after her brother was acting erratically with a knife while bleeding. Gas has been shut off and people were evacuated from the block. NYPD is working on the scene with crowd control and traffic.
