Hookah lounge coming to the border of Glen Oaks

The former location of long time liquor store, 252-09 Union Turnpike is in the process of setting up a hookah lounge. Permits have been filed and construction inside are taking place. With massage parlor, a sports bar and liquor store as neighbors, the hookah spot aims to cater the Glen Oaks area. Already two are in Bellerose, one in Floral Park and another in New Hyde Park. A scheduled opening date has not been disclosed.
