Homicide investigations in Nassau County

The NCPD reports the details of a homicide that occurred on Saturday, March 1, 2025 around 12:30pm.

According to detectives, Hempstead Police responded to the intersection of West Graham Avenue and Peninsula Boulevard for the report of an unresponsive male. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male victim who had sustained apparent gunshot wounds and administered medical aid.

The victim was transported to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead by a physician. The investigation is ongoing.
