Homicide investigation in Massapequa

The NCPD reported a female victim, 57 was found inside a home in Massapequa unresponsive with stab wounds. The incident was reported on December 24 around 7pm on Old Sunrise Highway near Field Dreams Park. The victim was found inside an auto shop.

EMS transported the victim to a local hospital and later she died of her wounds.

ESU is working on the evidence search.

Detectives didn't disclose if this was a domestic dispute but a perp is under questioning.

So far no arrests.

The investigation continues.
