Homicide investigation in Jackson Heights

Police reported a man was shot in Jackson Heights in the chest. It happened around 12pm on 88th Street and 37th Avenue. Reported it was a gang related incident. One person in custody after investigation. By 3pm the man who was shot died at the hospital. Ongoing investigation.
