Homicide investigation in Flushing

Police are investigating a homicide in Flushing. The incident was reported on Saturday around 10am at an apartment in Flushing.

This is at 143-33 Sanford Avenue.

Yesterday at 12pm, calls came in for fire inside the apartment.

Further investigation reported a male, 34 was found dead inside with the trauma lying face down.

Police stated the male died around 10am.

The city's medical examiner is conducting autopsy to determine the cause of death.
