Homeless placed across Queens Borough President s office

Commuters are advised to be careful on Queens Blvd. On Monday, October 2, NYC Dept of Homeless confirmed the location at 123-28 82nd Avenue where Comfort Inn is located has placed 42 homeless people. Now NYC Councilmember of Forest Hills, Karen Koslowitz want them removed as she was not notified prior to the placing. However, there are no laws to notify anyone before placing the homeless in local hotels around NYC. The Comfort Inn is a 20 story building that has been empty now and then along with neighborhood protests due to the height. It used to be called Queens Savoy Hotel and then as Hotel Louie.
