Hollis woman found dead in the country Jamaica during visit

Desiree Gibbon, 26 was found dead when police discovered her body in Jamaica, the island nation. Police reported Gibbon was slashed in the throat and her body was found on Sunday, November 26 morning in Anchovy near Montego Bay. Her father owns a hotel in Jamaica and she went to work there. On Thursday, November 30, her parents are making the arrangment to bring her body back home to Queens, NY. Her aunt Peggy has setup a GoFundMe page to raise money for the arrangment. Gibbon studied at Incarnation Catholic Academy, Queens Village, NY from kindergarten to 8th grade, then to Franklin Sinatra for high school until she transfered to Cardoza in Bayside where she graduated.
