Hit and run involving a pedestrian in South Richmond Hill

Police closed 103rd Avenue by 125th Street reporting hit and run after a pedestrian was struck vehicle. The driver took off toward Van Wyck Expressway. The victim is a senior female now in critical condition reported by the EMS working to transport to Jamaica Hospital. Police are searching for the vehicle. Ongoing investigation.
