Hit and run involving a crossing guard in Glen Cove

Police closed off the vicinity of Northern Blvd and Glen Cove Road reporting a crossing guard hit by a vehicle. This is by Dosoris Lane and Maple Avenue. It happened around 9am in Nassau County. The crossing guard was airlifted to a local hospital in critical condition. Police are now reviewing the surveillance videos to identify the vehicle.
