Hit and run in College Point

Police reported a 16 year old male victim was struck by a vehicle in College Point by a hit and run suspect. It happened on Friday around 9:30pm at the intersection of College Point Blvd and 18th Avenue. The victim remains in critical condition at a local hospital. The suspect took off and police reported the vehicle, a 2009 Toyota Camry was found abandoned on 15th Avenue. Police are searching for the suspect. Ongoing investigation.
