The incoming Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman will not enforce any jab mandate or whatsoever in the county. Blakeman will not listen to Governor Hochul so what happens, no funding from the state but Nassau County survives on its own. 90% of property taxes cover all dues for the county so it’s all good.

What's the downside?

Programs created under Laura Curran supporting anything related to gun violence, incentives etc will be kapooooot and will be dismantled in connection with the state.

Blakeman will increase funding for police and will also review the state bail reform laws to avoid mishaps. He says anyone who commits a crime belongs in jail and not in the programs.

Blakeman will take over the role in three weeks.
